My new blog focuses on a book called Heat and Dust written by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala.
In the story a young woman goes to India to retrace the steps of Olivia, a distant relative who moved to India in the 1920s as the wife of a British administrator. As she reveals more of the scandal that surrounded Olivia, the young narrator herself begins to feel increasingly overwhelmed by India and all it has to offer.
